My baking journey began with the decision to attend culinary school. After my first baking and pastry class I remember wishing I could enroll in more baking classes. Already half-way into my degree, I stuck with the original plan and earned a general degree in Culinary Science. Over the next few years, a wide variety of career opportunities added to my list of experiences including managing a coffee house, upscale catering, farm to table dining, and managing a residential university dining and catering location.

Sweet Crumb Company was born in 2017 after my childrens’ birthday cakes began to attract attention. Not just a creative hobby anymore, Sweet Crumb quickly became a full time operation with offerings ranging from local farmers market treats to weddings and large events. Thanks to the three little ones and their birthday cakes, I got a second chance to fully explore what caught my interest in those baking classes so many years before.
